I’m Half: My Daddy is American, My Mommy is Korean is a new children’s book that was digitally published earlier this month. The story is written by Paul Proctor and is partially modeled after his own family (He is the American daddy and his wife is the Korean mommy). I’m Half: My Daddy is American, My Mommy is Korean description (courtesy Official Site): More and more the world around us is becoming a cultural melting pot. “I’m Half” are stories celebrating biracial and biethnic families and the cultures of both sides of the family. Our first story celebrating biracial and biethnic families is a story of a half-white, half-Korean girl and her family called, “I’m Half: My Daddy is American, My Mommy is Korean.” This is the story of a little girl enjoying the cultural differences between the two sides of her family. Our main character loves to dance, loves to sing, and loves her family. We look forward to seeing more “I’m Half” stories in the future! |

UFC on FOX 10 Featuring Benson Henderson

UFC on FOX 10 takes place this Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois and will feature former UFC Lightweight Champion Benson “Smooth” Henderson in the main event against former Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Josh Thomson. Henderson last fought in August of last year at UFC 164 where he defended his UFC Lightweight Championship for the fourth time. It was a re-match against Anthony Pettis, whom Henderson had lost to in late 2010 in the WEC (Henderson had since won seven straight in the UFC). Unfortunately, Henderson suffered his second loss to Pettis due to an armbar submission in the first round and lost his title. We’re confident that Ben will get back on track with a victory at UFC on FOX 10 and get a shot in the near future to reclaim his title! In related news, congratulations are in order to Ben and his wife Maria for their wedding earlier this month. Tracy Lee took some amazing pictures and documented the wedding on CombatLifestyle.com.
