Tony Rutland

Professional Basketball Player

Tony Rutland is a professional basketball player who has played for various overseas leagues, the NBA D-League, USBL, XBA among others.

He played the 1998-99 season for the SK Knights of the Korean Basketball League and finished with 11.7ppg, 7apg, 6rpg, shot 50.1% from the floor and 40.4% from the 3-point line.

He played collegiate basketball at Wake Forest University from 1994-1998. He played alongside Tim Duncan at Wake Forest. He was also a high school teammate of Allen Iverson (Bethel High School in Hampton, Virginia).

While in High School, he was an All-City, All-District and 1st-team All-State selection (1994) and was a Parade Magazine and McDonald’s All-American as a high school senior in 1993-94.
