I’m a black/Korean male from Seattle, WA. I’ve always wanted a tattoo that represented my culture, love for my family and specifically my father (Vietnam Vet) who was taken too soon. I’ve been stumped on ideas for a tattoo and didn’t want to roll the dice and let an artist pick what was going to be on my body for the rest of my days.

Who would have known that my half+korean+tattoo search led me here. haha! The examples here are amazing! Maybe one day I’ll submit a photo of my own.

Love all your tattoos. However, I am a full blooded Korean, 2nd generation and I can not decide what to get (sorry if I offend anyone for offend anyone because this website is name ‘halfkorean’). So a little history, My old man grew up in the states (West Los ANgeles) starting in elementary. Attending Webster Junior High School off on Sawtelle and University High off on Barrington. Maybe many of you is familiar with this area.

Anyways, I grew up mostly around Caucasian and Blacks and never have any real Korean friends, even half-pa until I attended Palisades Charter and University of Arizona.

According to Chinese astrology or Asian astrology, being born on 1984 I am a freakin RAT!!! Being a rat in my opinion feels eerie. So instead of a rat, I was thinking of something along the lines of Mighty Mouse or Speedy Gonzalez; however it is still weak. So then I decided I should get Scrappy Doo cuz i feel closely related to that character, even though the rest of cast was….you know….HIGH all the time, especially Mary Jane!

But enough talk, I am looking for a artist who can walk me through step by step, because I am not looking for a one time ink on myself. I actually want like a full back print and maybe my inside of my hands. Does anybody here on this page of any recommendation on artist who can help me out??
