Marcus Freeman

Collegiate/Professional Football Player and Coach

Marcus Freeman is currently an assistant coach/linebackers coach at Kent State University.

He was a former collegiate football player who played linebacker at Ohio State University from 2004-2008.

He was drafted in the 5th round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. He spent the 2009 NFL season on the Buffalo Bills (practice squad) and later with the Houston Texans. He was forced to retire in 2010 due to an enlarged heart condition.
