Ben Henderson vs. Mark Bocek at UFC 129

Ben “Smooth” Henderson will fight Mark Bocek at UFC 129 on April 30, 2011 at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. It will be televised live on Pay-Per-View (PPV).

This lightweight match-up will be Henderson’s first fight as part of the UFC since the UFC/WEC merger. His last fight was the loss by decision at WEC 53 in December 2010 against Anthony Pettis.

There are critics who are questioning if the former WEC Lightweight Champion can overcome the “Showtime” kick that Pettis landed near the end of the fight in round 5 but,
as impressive as the kick was, we are quite sure that Ben will be fine as he had a 10 fight winning streak prior to that loss and currently stands with a very respectable 12-2 professional fight record.
