Everyone please make sure to take a moment and nominate Executive Chef Nyesha Arrington for the 2013 James Beard Foundation Awards “Rising Star Chef of 2013.” The deadline to cast your nomination vote is December 31, 2012! Here is some info from Wilshire Restaurant: It would mean a lot to us if you could take the time to submit your vote for our talented executive chef, Nyesha Arrington as Rising Star for the 2013 James Beard Foundation Awards, the most highly respected awards for culinary professionals in the United States. Of course, only a member of the James Beard Foundation vote on the finalists to win, but anyone can nominate online by clicking James Beard or http://jamesbeard.starchefs.com/awards/vote/index_2.php and submitting Chef Nyesha Arrington for Rising Star Chef of 2013. Deadline for entry is December 31, 2012 at 11:59PM and membership in the James Beard Foundation is not required for entry. Winners will be announced on May 6, 2013 at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall in New York City. We interviewed the former Top Chef season 9 competitor earlier this year.
