The 2011 HalfKorean.com Annual Meet in Los Angeles, California presented by HalfKorean.com & Amerasian Unity Foundation is set for Saturday July 30, 2011.
We wanted to let everyone know as soon as we set the date so that people outside of the Southern California area can make arrangements if they plan to attend.
Venues and specific details are still being worked on but make sure to keep checking back here on HalfKorean.com for the latest information regarding the event.
We are planning to have an ALL day event with a family-oriented gathering during the day for those with children and continue through the evening.
This is the general theme for our meets:
“This meeting is for anyone whom is mixed Korean. It doesn’t matter what the percentage is, what the other mix is, how old you are and where you were born/raised. We want to bring together EVERYONE to celebrate our Korean culture and our diverse mixed backgrounds. Everyone, including non-mixed Koreans, is welcome to attend as well as long as they have a sincere interest in people of mixed Korean descent (significant other, etc.).”
